Middle School Faculty
Middle school teachers focus on building strong academic foundations, structure, and student accountability during critical developmental years.
Requirements:
- State-certified teachers (or eligible for certification in Florida)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or subject area
- Experience teaching middle school–aged students
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
Preferred Qualities:
- Experience in college-preparatory or private school environments
- Ability to support student-athletes and balanced schedules
- Strong communication with parents and school leadership
- Commitment to character development and student growth
High School Faculty
High school teachers emphasize subject mastery, college readiness, and individualized student support as students prepare for post-secondary opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in subject area or related field
- Demonstrated subject-matter expertise
- Ability to deliver rigorous, college-preparatory instruction
- Strong mentorship and classroom leadership skills
- State certification not required
Preferred Qualities:
- Experience in private, preparatory, or alternative education settings
- Ability to support student-athletes and flexible academic programming
- Strong communication with students, families, and administration
- Alignment with the academy’s mission and values

At Exclusive Preparatory Academy, our basketball coaching staff is selected to develop elite athletes while emphasizing character, discipline, and academic accountability. Coaches are expected to model leadership, professionalism, and a commitment to long-term athlete development.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience coaching competitive basketball (prep school, high school, AAU, collegiate, or professional level)
- Strong knowledge of player development, team systems, and game strategy
- Ability to teach fundamentals, skill progression, and basketball IQ
- Commitment to athlete safety, sportsmanship, and positive mentorship
- Alignment with the academy’s mission, values, and culture

Preferred Qualifications:
- Collegiate or professional playing and/or coaching experience
- Experience developing student-athletes for college recruitment and placement
- Knowledge of NCAA eligibility, recruiting processes, and exposure pathways
- Strength in leadership, communication, and team culture development
- Ability to collaborate with academic staff and performance trainers
Additional Expectations:
- Background check clearance and compliance with school safety policies
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Willingness to support student-athletes on and off the court
