Dress Code
Dress Code & Uniform Policy
At Exclusive Preparatory Academy, our dress code supports professionalism, school pride, and a focused learning environment. Student appearance plays an important role in reinforcing accountability, respect, and readiness for academic and personal success.
All students are expected to adhere to Academy dress code standards during the academic day.
Official School Uniform
Effective Beginning the 2026–2027 School Year
All students in grades 6–12 are required to wear the official Exclusive Preparatory Academy uniform during the school day.
Uniform Purchase Requirement
All official uniform items, including polos, PE uniforms, and approved outerwear, must be purchased through Exclusive Preparatory Academy or an Academy-approved vendor.
School Polo
One (1) Exclusive Preparatory Academy polo in Royal Blue, White, or Yellow
Uniform Bottoms
One (1) pair of uniform pants, shorts, or skort in Khaki, Black, or Navy Blue
Physical Education (PE) Uniform
One (1) Exclusive Preparatory Academy PE shirt
One (1) pair of Exclusive Preparatory Academy PE shorts
Outerwear (Cold Weather)
Exclusive Preparatory Academy sweater or hoodie (school-issued only)
Footwear Guidelines
- Closed-toe athletic or casual shoes are required
- Crocs, slides, flip-flops, or similar open/backless footwear are not permitted
- Shoes must be safe and appropriate for a school setting
Cold Weather & Hoodie Policy
- Only EPA-issued sweaters or hoodies may be worn during the school day
- Hoodies must be worn appropriately and may not cover the head indoors
- Non-school outerwear is not permitted during the academic day
Dress Code Guidelines
- Uniforms must be clean, properly fitted, and worn as intended
- Clothing must be free of rips, tears, or excessive wear
- Apparel should reflect a respectful and professional school environment
- Additional dress code expectations may be communicated as needed
Friday Dress Option
On Fridays, students may wear jeans in place of uniform bottoms under the following guidelines:
- Jeans must be free of holes, rips, or distressing
- Jean shorts are permitted only if they extend below the knees
- All footwear and top guidelines remain in effect
