Exclusive Preparatory Academy

Education

Exclusive Preparatory Academy™ is Central Florida’s premier program offering a unique, balanced approach to academics and elite basketball training. As the only program of its kind in the region, we provide a condensed academic schedule that allows student-athletes to prioritize skill development without compromising their education.

Our academic team brings over 25 years of teaching experience and delivers instruction through a blended learning environment, enabling students to learn at their own pace in small, supportive classroom settings.

Outside the classroom, student-athletes dedicate 15 to 20 hours per week to comprehensive basketball development, including skills training, strength and conditioning, film study, and leadership development through our structured mentorship program.

Curriculum includes core subjects Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, as well as electives such as Arts, Health, and Technology. Students are expected to demonstrate proficiency in these core areas for promotion to the next grade level.

6th Grade through 8th Grade

The curriculum follows the Sunshine State Standards and uses those benchmarks as a guideline for assessment in order to assure the students a smooth transition to each grade. In addition to the Florida mandated subjects, students are instructed in Life Skills, Study Skills, Social Skills, Spanish, Physical Education, Music and Art.

High School

Ninth through 12th graders participate in a blended learning class setting where they engage in academic, life skills, citizenship, and leadership curriculums. Core subjects are done through Edgenuity, an online curriculum recognized by the Florida Department of Education and the NCAA.

To be eligible to play college sports for an NCAA Division I or II school, student-athletes must complete 16 core courses in high school. These core courses must be on their high school's list of NCAA-approved courses, and they generally fall into the categories of English, math, science, social science, and world languages

Our student athletes are offered the required NCAA certified courses.
